Woodlands County has many different lakes and rivers that have terrific fishing spots to try.
Goose Lake is home to pike and perch. Visitors are welcome to use the Boat Launch and take to the lake by boat, or fish from any of the 4 public docks or day use sites.
Schuman Lake:
Rainbow trout. Located by Goose Lake, on secondary highway 658.
Fish Lakes:
Pike and perch. Located near Goose Lake, only accessible by quad.
Roach Lake:
Pike available, located 30 kilometers east of Swan Hills, only accessible by quad.
